William "Meechie" Pugh

William “Meechie” Pugh, 42, died Monday, April 1, 2013 in rural Seward Co.He was born November 8, 1970, at St. Louis, Mo, Son of Sidney Bynum & Freddie Mae Pugh. He obtained his GED in Oklahoma, and had been a resident of Liberal for many years. He was currently employed at Rok Hard Ready Mix Co. of Liberal as a truckdriver. Was formally employed by Halliburton. Survivors include: 4 sons, Deontrel Pugh, Liberal, Ks Ramaud Pugh, Kansas City, Mo Terrance Pugh, Liberal, Ks Step-son Trent VanWyhe, Liberal, Ks 4 daughters, Nia Pugh, Kansas City, Mo, Angelia Pugh, Liberal, Ks Joyful Pugh, Liberal, Ks Zoey Pugh, Plains, Ks His mother, Freddie Mae (Pugh) Smith & husband Larry, St. Louis, Mo 3 brothers, Jerome Richards & wife Marissa, St. Louis, Mo Christopher Pugh, St. Louis, Mo Sydney Pugh & wife Tyronda, St. Louis, Mo3 sisters, Carla Charles, St. Louis, Mo Emma Pugh, St. Louis, Mo Kathy Pugh, Liberal, KsMany nieces and nephews He was preceeded in death by his father Sidney Bynum Funeral Service: will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at All Nations Church, Liberal, with Pastor Jimmy Holman, officiating. Burial will be at Liberal cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
