Virginia Dell Jackson, age 91, died Monday, February 8, 2016, at her residence in Liberal, KS. She was born September 30, 1924 in Rose, OK, the daughter of Mark and Nora Lee (Marshall) Hanna. She graduated from Locust Grove, OK High School in 1942. She was long time resident of Liberal.She was a homemaker. She married Johnny A. Jackson on November 6, 1943 at Dalhart, TX. He died on June 24, 1996.She loved her church, family, and friends.She was a member of New Beginnings Church, formerly the first Assembly of God Church.Survivors include2 Sons Gary Wayne Jackson and wife Linda Amarillo, TX Stacey Alan Jackson Liberal, KS1 Brother Frank Hanna and wife Shirley Liberal, KS1 Sister Mary J. Weaver and husband Henry Rose, OK6 Grandchildren Shane Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Chad Jackson, Tye Jackson, Devan Higgins, and Andrea Ferguson; 10 Great Grandchildren Zane Jackson, Shelby Jackson, Presley Jackson, Blakeley Jackson, Chandler Jackson, Braydon Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Cora Jackson, Charleigh Holloway, and Tristen Loeffler. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Son Ronald Lee Jackson, 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers.Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 10:00 a.m., at the New Beginnings Church with Pastor Richard Martin, presiding. Burial will be in the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, KS.Visitation will be Wednesday, 1-5, Thursday, 9-8, with the family present to greet friends, 6-8 p.m., at Brenneman Funeral Home, and on Friday, until service time, at New Beginnings Church. Memorial Contributions may be sent to New Beginnings Church, in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
