LiberalVirginia Pearl Benton, 78, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born January 16, 1935 at Woodville, Ok, the daughter of Oval and Jewell (McCorkel) Marsh. She was a homemaker. On December 12, 1953 she married Robert Eldon Benton at Borger, Tx, he preceeded her in death on January 11, 2000. She graduated Borger High School and attended Frank Phillips Community College. Survivors: 3 sons Robert Bruce Benton & wife Kim Choctaw, Ok David Blaine Benton Kingston, Ok Phillip Brent Benton Liberal 3 daughters Bobetta Kay Harper & husband Dale Liberal Brenda Sue Benton Liberal Marsha Beth Abbot Beaver, Ok 1 brother-in-law Kenneth E. Benton Borger, Tx 20 –grandchildren 12 -great grandchildren She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, and attended the First Church of the Nazarene, both of Liberal.She was preceeded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brother – Calvin O. Marsh and Grandson Kobe Mosby.Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, November 11, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Liberal, with Pastor Arlen Ankle presiding.
