Victor Valerio Martinez-Gonzales

Victor Valerio Martinez-Gonzales, age 64, died September 20, 2022, at his home in Liberal, Kansas. He was born on July 27, 1958, the son of Valerio Martinez and Maria Gonzales in Mexico City, Mexico. Victor was united in marriage to his beloved Carmen Martinez, she preceded him in death. He was a hard worker for many years as a Derrick Operator in the oil field. He will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and all who were fortunate to meet him in his lifetime. Survived by His brother, Eduardo Martinez of Liberal, Kansas, Sisters, Carmen Pineda of Liberal, Kansas Patricia Martinez of Mexico, and Raquel Martinez of Mexico Preceded in death by Both his Parents, Valerio Martinez and Maria Gonzales, Wife, Carmen Martinez, Two sisters, Alejandra Soto, and Teresa Martinez, and One brother, Gustavo Martinez Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Hornung Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Juan Salas presiding. Graveside Service to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
