He was born to Vicente Medina and Maura Lopez Medina in Cortazar, Guanajato, Mexico on July 11, 1936. He married Ramona Miranda Razo December 10, 1959 in Mexico, she survives. He worked for Molinos y Campesinos as a truck driver.
