Toribio "Toby" Tonche, age 84, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at his daughter's home in Parker, CO. He was born April 27, 1928, at Haskell, TX, to Matias Tonche and Jovita Baeza. He was a self-employed carpenter, and had retired from National Beef Packing Co. He married Guadalupe Pastrana, on April 20, 1981, at Denver,CO. She survives.Other survivors include 1 son, Jesus Rodriguez, of Texas; 4 daughters, Roxanne Tonche, of Parker, CO, Yuvia Tonche, of Liberal, KS, Reyra Rodriguez, of Wichita, KS, and Margarita Diaz, of Denver, CO; 1 brother, Chano Tonche, of Dallas, TX; 3 sisters, Elena Villareal, of Haskell, TX, Isabella Mendez, of Chicago, IL, Simona Hernandez, of Ranger, TX, and Florentina Arellano, of McAllen, TX; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Maria Rodriguez; 3 brothers, Domingo Tonche, Silbestre Tonche, and Jesus Tonche; 1 sister, Micaela Carreon.Visitation Time will be from 1-8 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012, at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel.Rosary & Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, at the chapel.Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 23, at the chapel, with Rev. James P. Dieker, officiating. Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
