Timothy James Brown, age 62, died Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at his home in Liberal, after a 5 year struggle with cancer. He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on March 20, 1955 the son of Charles James and Faye Irene (Matney) Brown.
He moved to Liberal, Kansas with his family in 1968, when he was 13. Tim was married to Polly McAnarney on October 13, 1973 in Pratt Kansas. They were married for 43 Years.
Tim worked many jobs in the oilfield: roughneck, driller, roustabout, mechanic and tester. He was a maintenance supervisor at National Beef Packing for several years. Tim had a strong work ethic. Tim was Christian believer. He enjoyed music, photography, friends, camping, and spending time with his grandkids.

Tim was preceded in death by his father Charles J. Brown, Brother Steven C. Brown and an infant grandson.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Faith Tabernacle Church, with Rex Petty presiding. Inurnment will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
The Family will be present to greet friends, Friday, April 7th 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Brenneman Funeral Home.
