Stephen Anthony Rogacki, 72, of Liberal, KS, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS. He was born August 3, 1943 at Marysville, KS to Stephen P. and Velma (Volle) Rogacki. His family moved to Colorado and he graduated in 1960 from St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, CO. He then went on to get his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. He worked in Liberal for many years, first for Northern Natural Gas and finally for the Kansas Department of Transportation. He served in the US Air Force from March 1964 to September 1968. He had been married to Zadie Neal. Survivors include: Son – Neal Rogacki. Loveland, CO Daughter – Shannon Autobee, Brighton, CO Special Friend – Ella Pennington and her Family, Liberal, KS Brothers – Gary Lynn, Boulder, CO Paul David Rogacki, Irvine, CA Patrick Rogacki, Colorado Springs, CO Philip Rogacki, Longmont, CO Joe Rogacki, Colorado Springs, CO George Rogacki, Mountain Home, AR Sisters – Mary Rogacki, Morrison, CO Jean Rogacki, Henderson, CO Carol Rogacki, Colorado Springs, CO 2 Grandchildren – Neal and Zadie Autobee He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen P. Rogacki and Velma (Volle) Rogacki. There will be no services held but there will be visitation held from 9 AM to 8 PM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday. There will also be visitation time from 5 – 8pm Thursday Nov 12th at Horan – McConaty Funeral Home in South Denver Colorado. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-8pm Thursday. Cremation will follow visitation time and Inurnment will take place at Fort Logan National Veterans Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
