Sharon Kay “Sherry” Wilson, age 71, died April 22, 2018 at the Morton County Senior Living Community in Elkhart, KS. She was born August 17, 1946, at Goodland, KS, the daughter of Roy William and Gwendola (Baker) Robinson.
She graduated from Arapahoe High School in Arapahoe, CO in 1964. She graduated from Platte Valley Bible College in Scottsbluff, NE, on May 29, 1968 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sacred Literature.
She served as the Seward County Treasurer from 2001 to 2014. She enjoyed painting, gardening, flower arranging, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.
On May 8, 1969, she married Robert Wayne Wilson. He died on April 12, 2006.

1 Daughter Robin Patton and husband Chad Celina, TX
4 Grandchildren Tyler Wilson, Alexander Patton, Anali Patton, and Bailey Wilson.
2 Brothers, Bill Robinson and wife Janis, of Burlington, North Carolina, and Mike Robinson and wife Ann, of Crosby, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Wayne Wilson, and sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Whatley.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. CDT, Friday, May 4, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church, 621 N. Western Avenue, Liberal, KS 67901 with Pastor Rex Petty, presiding.
Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. MDT, Friday, May 4, 2018 in the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe, Co. with James McKean, presiding.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 2nd, with the family present to greet friends and 1:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, KS 67901.
