Rosa Amalia Palacios

Rosa Amalia Palacios, age 62, died December 6, 2012, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was born May 20, 1950 in Olanchito Yoro, Honduras, the daughter of Cesar Palacios.Her companion in Honduras was Manuel Fonseca. He died in 1989. She married Jose Magana in Oklahoma. He Survives. She was a resident of Turpin for 11 years.She was had been a herdsman for Seaboard Farms. She had worked for Peska Furs in Ord, Nebraska.Survivors include:2 sons Carlos Fonseca and wife Karen, Ord, NE; Joel Fonseca, Honduras. 3 Daughters Carmen Fonseca and husband Marco Tulio Rivera, Honduras; Yessenia Palacios, Honduras; Sandra Fonseca, Honduras. 15 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and 1 Granddaughter Rikci Mabel Fonseca.Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Inurnment will take place at a later date, in Honduras.
