Ronnie Helsel

Ronnie Helsel, age 70, died on Monday, June 10, 2024, at his residence in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on August 5, 1953, in Liberal, Kansas, to Gerald and Virginia (Booth) Helsel.  

Ronnie graduated from Liberal High School in 1971. He started his career at Beechcraft in Wichita until his position was outsourced. Ronnie returned to Liberal and worked for Seward County Waste Management after several years of service he retired as an equipment operator. 

Ronnie had a passion for the great outdoors. He found joy in hunting, camping, fishing, and spending time at his cabin near Agusta. His love for guns and shooting brought him immense happiness, as did his fondness for golf. Ronnie will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his

Sister, Rhonda McAdams, and

Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Virginia Helsel.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Believer’s Ministry, 1071 S. Clay Avenue.   Pastor Dalkey Davis will be officiating.
