Robert Harold Mayhan

Robert Harold Mayhan, age 67, died December 12, 2014 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. He was born December 25, 1946 in Clayton, NM, the son of Grady and Viola (Vance) Mayhan. He graduated in 1972 from Felt High School in Felt, OK. He had been a resident of Liberal for 40 years.In 1969, he married Trudy A. Pierce. She died January 6, 1980.On May 8, 1984, he married Zelda R. Streetman in Liberal, KS. She survives.He owned and operated Mayhan Garden Center in Liberal, for 25 years, with his wife.Survivors include2 Sons Grady Streetman, Birmingham, AL and James Mayhan and wife Rena, Great Bend, KS. 2 Daughters Marilyn Salley and husband Kent, Broken Arrow, OK and Mylinda Howell and husband Terrell, Corpus Christi, TX.1 Brother Johnnie Mayhan and wife Rayola, Kim, CO. 2 Sisters Lavena Davis and husband Ernie, Liberal, KS and Loveta Carter, Guymon, OK. 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Brother and 1 Sister.Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2014 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church with Brother Doug Knudsen, presiding. Burial will be in the Liberal Cemetery.Visitation will be 1:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday at Brenneman Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
