Raul Michel-Nevarez, 71 died, Sunday, Feb 12, 2012 at Meade District Hospital in Meade, KS.He was born Aug. 3, 1940 in La Cienega, Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, Mexico the son of Edwiges Michel and Maria Ramona Nevarez Michel. He had lived in Santa Maria Del Oro, Durango, Mexico, Delicias Chihuahua, Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Liberal, KS.On February 9, 1964 he married Beatriz Lucero at Santa Maria Del Oro Durango, Mexico. She survives. Other survivors include6 sons Martin Michel and wife Rosalba Liberal, KS Camilo Michel and wife Elida Wichita, KS Armando Michel and wife Alma Wichita, KS Jose Raul Michel and wife Cira Wichita, KS Cesar Michel Liberal, KS Jesus Ibarra – Michel and wife Leli Dodge City, KS1 Daughter Betty Symons and husband Victor Liberal, KS 1 Brother Natividad Michel Albuquerque, NM4 Sisters Candida Rasor El Paso, TX Maria De Los Angeles Vargas Delicias, Chih, Mexico Antolina Wilson Los Angeles, CA Esperanza Michel Los Angeles, CA19 Grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and 1 brother Maximiliano Michel.Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Seward County Event Center. Burial will be held at Liberal Cemetery.Visitation time will be 9am to 8pm Tuesday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
