Nola Elaine Swanson, 59, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her residence in Liberal, KS.She was born October 11, 1954 at Coffeyville, KS, the daughter of Delbert and Lorena (Arnold) Baker. She was a 1974 graduate of Liberal High School and had attended Liberal Area Vo-Tech.She was a Certified Nurse Aide and transportation aide for Mosiac.She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Liberal.On March 2, 1974, she married Randall L. Swanson at Liberal, KS. He survives.Other survivors include:1 Son: Martin Swanson and wife Elizabeth of Dumas, TX; 2 Daughters: Joy Magner and husband Kile of Colby, KS; Lindsay Starkey and husband Christopher of Liberal, KS;1 Brother: Leo Baker of Wichita, KS;4 Sisters: Dollie Henry and husband Jimmy of Wichita, KS;Rayleen Ortiz and husband Victor of Wichita, KS; Peggy Holt of Wichita, KS; and Judith Guthrie of Wichita, KS. 6 Grandchildren: Emilie Magner, Jennie Magner, Bailey Swanson, Paige Swanson, Zoey Starkey and Hope Swanson.She was preceded in death by her parents.Private services were held and cremation has taken place.
