MaryLou Peterson, 75, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home in Enid, Ok. She was born February 2, 1938 in Sublette, Ks, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Tyler) Slocum. On August 28, 1955, she married Bill Peterson at Sublette, Ks, he preceded her in death on March 12, 2000. She was a homemaker, and co-owner of Peterson Trucking in Hugoton. She made Enid, Ok her home for the past 11 years. She had a deep love for God and was strong in her faith and walk with Christ. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Hugoton and First Assembly of God Church in Enid, OK. She loved spending time with her family, cooking large meals for the holidays, gardening, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She is loved by so many, and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors: 1 Daughter Debbie Nuckolls & companion Jack Enid, Ok 2 Sons Steve Peterson & wife Tammie Hugoton, Ks Craig Peterson & companion Wendy Hugoton, Ks 2 Brothers Curtis Slocum & wife Maria Hugoton, Ks Duane Slocum Sun City, AZ 3 Sisters Pauline Nelson & husband Richard Oklahoma City, Ok Imagene Bressler & husband Dallas Liberal, Ks Karen McGill & husband Bob Joplin, Mo 9 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 1 Brother-George Slocum and 1 Grandson Chastin Peterson. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church of Hugoton, with Rev. Robert Bailey Presiding. Visitation: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church, Hugoton. Burial: At Hugoton Cemetery Memorial Contributions: In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to the Assembly of God Church, Hugoton.
