Martina Mata 46, died, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her residence in Liberal, KS.She was born July 22, 1967 Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico, the daughter of Efrain Piña Benavides and Martha Ofelia Cepeda. She was a resident of Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico for 29 years and was a resident of Liberal for the past 17 years.In 1986, she graduated from Cetis 87 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico and in 1997, she received her GED from the Colvin Learning Center. She was employed by Murphy Brown Farms.She is a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal, KS On February 14, 1990, she married Jorge Mata in Hercules, Coahuila, Mexico. He survives.Other survivors include:Parents- Efrain Piña Benavides and Martha Ofelia Cepeda Piña Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico;1 Son Jorge Mata and wife Tanya Liberal, KS; 1 Daughter Vanessa Mata and companion Stephen Medina Garden City, KS;2 Brothers Jesus Piña and wife Cecilia Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico; Efrain Piña and wife Azucena Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico;1 Sister Sonia Quinonez Piña and husband Larzaro Los Angeles, Califorina;2 Grandchildren Adan and Sophie Mata.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Hector de la Vega presiding. Burial will be held at Liberal Cemetery.Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
