Liberal, KSMaria Esperanza Cuellar 77, died, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her residence in Liberal, KS.She was born July 16, 1937 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico the daughter of Juan & Delfina (Alonso) Contreras. She was a resident of Mexico for 50 years and lived in Liberal for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and was a member the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic in Liberal, Ks.She married Rosalio Cuellar in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He survives.Other survivors include:2 Sons Javier Cuellar Mexico Juan Cuellar Arkansas 5 Daughters Beatriz “Bety” Vazquez Liberal, KS Carolina Cuellar Liberal, KS Martha Cuellar Liberal, KS Rocio Cuellar Mexico Susana Rosales and husband Jesus Mexico2 Sisters Andrea Contreras El Paso, TX Marselina Ontiveros and husband Mike El Paso, TX20 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her Parents and sister Isabel Alvarez.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father James P. Dieker presiding. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.Rosary and Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Visitation time will be 5 to 8pm Wednesday and 9am to 5pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
