Francisco Vicente, age 55, and his wife, Maria Lux Pu, age 47, died Monday, July 8, 2024, in Texas County, Oklahoma.

Francisco was born on July 20, 1968, in Quiché Canillá, Guatemala, the son of Osorio Pu and Sebastiana Vicente. Maria was born on November 15, 1976, in Quiché Canillá, Guatemala, the daughter of Hilario Lux and Isabela Pu.

The church was a big part of their lives. Francisco and Maria were pastors at the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostes 119 W. 4th Street in Liberal, Kansas and 301 Main Street in Guymon, Oklahoma.

They are survived by 

their sons, Diego Vicente of Alabama,

Osorio Vicente and his wife, Marta Suar of Liberal, Kansas

Vidalio Batz Lux of Liberal, Kansas, and

Juan Hilario Vicente Lux of Liberal, Kansas,

Daughters, Sebastiana Vicente Perez, and her husband, Gaspar de la Cruz of Guatamala,

Juana Vicente Perez and her husband, Mario de la Cruz of Guatamala,

Manuela Vicente Perez and her husband, Pedro Zetino,

 Ana Batz Lux and her husband, Miguel Batz Lux of Guatemala,

Isabela Batz Lux and her husband, Miguel Pu Rodriguez of Liberal, Kansas,

And Imia Isabel Vicente Lux of Liberal, Kansas,

Brothers, Francisco Batz Vicente and his wife Gregoria Tińo of Liberal, Kansas,

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostes, 119 W. 4th Street, Liberal, Kansas.

A burial will take place at Aldea Cruz Chich, Guatemala.

Francisco nació el 20 de julio de 1968 en Quiché Canillá, Guatemala, hijo de Osorio Pu y de Sebastiana Vicente. María nació el 15 de noviembre de 1976 en Quiché Canillá, Guatemala, hija de Hilario Lux e Isabela Pu.

Se realizará un entierro en Aldea Cruz Chich, Guatemala.
