Margarita Padron Lagunas 89, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS She was born June 10, 1924 in Villa de Reyes Mexico the daughter of Acension and Soledad (Herrera) Padron. She has been a resident of Liberal since 1966. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. On August 22, 1940, she married Alejo Rosas Lagunas in Villa de Reyes, Mexico. He died Oct.7, 1996. Survivors include:3 Sons Alejo Lagunas Jr. Liberal, KS Oscar Lagunas Liberal, KS Feliciano Lagunas Liberal, KS 7 Daughters Maria P. Farris Liberal, KS Josie Lagunas Liberal, KS Yolanda Martinez Cincinnati, OH Ninfa Turner Midwest City, OK Alicia Molina Ingalls, KS Diana Arras Garden City, KS Sylivia Lagunas Garden City, KS1 Sister, 20 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great GrandchildrenShe is preceded in death by 5 Sons Jose, Guadalupe, Pancho, Pilar and Margarito and also 2 Grandchildren and 3 Sisters.Vigil and Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at St. Anthony Catholic ChurchFuneral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. James P. Dieker presiding. Burial will be held at Restlawn Cemetery.Visitation time will be 9am to 5pm Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
