Margaret Hinz

Margaret Louise Hinz 81, died Friday March 4, 2011 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was born Oct 15, 1929 at Liberal, KS the daughter of Harland & Mae (Fuller) Neese. She has been a lifetime resident of Liberal and was a Liberal High School graduate. She and Sherman owned Hinz Super Service Station and she was also employed at Bruce Well Service for many years. She was a member of the Risen Glory Church and had been active in the Desk & Derrick. On May 22, 1948 she married Sherman Dee Hinz at Perryton, TX. He died in Nov. 1977 Survivors include2 Sons Bruce Hinz and wife LaRae Liberal, KS Sherman D. Hinz Jr. and wife Debbie Portland, TX2 Daughters Sharon Hinz-Irwin and husband Bill South Roxana, IllJane Hinz Bassett and husband Gordon Peoria, AZ 3 Sisters Nancy Pittman Wichita, KS Charlene Miller Hooker, OK Doris Gordon Elk City, OK Grandchildren Jeffrey Irwin and wife Amy, Jessica Ashraf and husband Azim, Bill Irwin, Brandon Hinz and wife Becca, Brent Hinz, Chad Hinz and wife Elizabeth, Bradley Hinz, Jason Pottroff, Brandie Jones. 19 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by 1 granddaughter Marlo Hinz Dunham, 3 brothers Gerald, Dean and Harland Neese, 4 sisters, Helen Briscoe, Isabel Witzke, Clara Clark, Irene Crowder.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Ann Holman presiding. Burial will be held at Restlawn Cemetery.Visitation time will be 1-5pm Sunday and 9am till service time Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers and plants memorials may be sent to Risen Glory Church or Parkinson Disease Foundation in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal,KS. 67901
