Margaret Linda Bissett

Margaret Linda Bissett, 90, died Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Homestead Estates care facility in Liberal. She was born on September 25, 1928 in Susank, KS, the daughter of Andrew and Katherine (Schmidt) Baum.
She graduated from Gorham High School in 1947. On August 5, 1950, she married Clarence Adlore Bissett in Russell, KS, in the Assembly of God Church. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2005.
Margaret was a homemaker and a mother. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Russell, KS, where she was confirmed on December 15, 1957.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Eddie and Emil Baum; 4 sisters, Helen Wolford, Mary Mermis, Viola Brown and Rosie Thompson; and a granddaughter Cassia Rott.

Visitation will be from 9am to 8pm Monday, April 22, at Brenneman Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-8pm.
Funeral Services will be 10 am Tuesday, April 23 at Brenneman Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Wehling presiding. Burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
