Marcelo Vitolás Pando, 66, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.He was born October 12, 1945 in Mexico, the son of Santiago and Juana Pando Vitolás. He has been a resident of Liberal for 31 years owning and operating Vitolás Tortillas for many years.He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church.On Sept 24, 1968, he married Margarita Baeza in Mexico. She survives. Other survivors include:2 Sons Victor Vitolás and wife Giovani Harker Hights, Texas; Rafael Vitolás San Antonio, Texas3 Daughters: Lydia Vitolás Wichita, KS; Juana Loya and husband Eloy Garden City, KSLaura Vitolás Wichita, KS; 3 Brothers: Jose Cruz Vitolás Denver, CO; Jose Vitolás Denver, CO; Santiago Vitolás Meoqui Chihuahua, Mexico 2 Sisters: Soledad Vitolás-Holguin Meoqui Chihuahua, Mexico; Antonia Vitolás-Armendaris Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 8 Grandchildren: Tazmarae S. Bowie, Ramarlio B. Bowie, Magye Loya, Mandy Loya, Andy Loya, Jasy Loya Myha and Rebekha Vitolás.Preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Alex Christensen.Rosary and Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church.Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. James Dieker presiding. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, KS.Visitation time will be 9 am to 5 pm Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
