LIBERAL, KSLupe Andrada, Sr., age 66, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS. He was born June 28, 1947 in Brownsville, Tx, the son of Juan and Refugia (Anugia) Andrada. He was a resident of Liberal since 1974.He worked for Nation Beef Packing Company, in the Hide Department, and retired after 32 years of employment. On November 26, 1966, he married Manuela Ortega in Garden City, KS. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2009.Survivors include:1 Son Lupe Andrada, Jr. Liberal, KS3 Daughters Linda Andrada Liberal, KS Rosa Byrd Guymon, OK Sandra Galindo Midland, TX2 Brothers Juan Andrada, Jr. Hooker, Ok Samuel Andrada Austin, TX8 Sisters Antonia Rodriguez Amarillo, Tx Martha Rincones Garden City, Ks Rosie Rodriguez Liberal, Ks Rebecca Andrada Garden City, Ks Betty Andrada Garden City, Ks Alberta Andrada Ft. Worth, Tx Melda Montanez Garden City, Ks Anita Mata Amarillo, Tx Father Juan Andrada Garden City, KS10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and 1 Brother Alfred Andrada.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 204 N. Sherman, Liberal, KS with Pastor Jose Del Carmen, officiating. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at First Baptist Church.
