Lorena 'Lori' Lee Wilson Groover

Lorena Lee “Lori” Wilson Groover, 59, died Monday, December 10, 2012 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was born October 2, 1953 in Groom, TX, the daughter of E. W. and Lois (Allen) Wilson.She was raised and attended grade school in Fritch, TX. She graduated high school in Dallas, TX. She has been a longtime Liberal area resident moving to Turpin, OK in 1990.She was employed at King’s Restaurant as a waitress for 23 years and worked for National Beef Packing Co. for 2 ½ years in data processing before she became unable to work. On July 6, 1986, she married Douglas Groover in Liberal, KS. He survives. Other survivors include:1 Son - Brian Allen Ross, Turpin, OK;1 Step-son - Jeremy Groover, Jacksonville, FL;1 Step-daughter – Shannon Sabota, Toledo, OH;Mother – Lois Wilson,Fritch, TX;1 Brother - Gary Wilson, Ft. Worth, TX;1 Sister - Elizabeth England, Dallas, TX;3 Grandchildren and 3 Step-grandchildren.Preceded in death by her father, Brother -Roger Wilson and twin Brother-Harold Wilson.Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Jacob presiding. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Borger TX.
