Lonnie Lowell Delay, age 56, died August 2, 2017 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS. He was born October 10, 1960 in Elkhart, KS, the son of Abner and Janiese (Martin) Delay.
He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1978. He graduated from Texas Tech in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree.
On August 19, 1987 he married Elizabeth Kambouris at Lubbock, TX. She survives.
He worked for DCP Midstream for 12 years as an oilfield mechanic.
He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He enjoyed working on old pickup trucks.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 7, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Liberal, KS with Reverend Caroline Ballinger of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Liberal, KS presiding. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Greenmount Cemetery, Durango, CO.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 with the family present at Brenneman Funeral Home to greet friends.
