Lisa Ann Beeson

Lisa Ann Beeson, age 58, died Monday, August 28, 2023, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on March 14, 1965, the daughter of John C. and Elsie (Delgado) Martinez in Liberal, Kansas.

Lisa graduated from Liberal High School in 1983 and was united in marriage to Scott Beeson the following year on June 16, 1984. She was the loving and devoted mother of three sons, Jordan, Jacob, and Josh. Lisa worked as a salesclerk for K-Mart, Walmart, and JC Penney’s, and worked as a Home Care Giver for Home Care. She sang in the church choir and helped the Knights of Columbus on bingo nights. Lisa enjoyed crocheting and was a wonderful cook with Mexican food being her specialty. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Beeson of Liberal, Kansas, sons, Jordan Beeson of Liberal, Kansas, Jacob Beeson of Dodge City, Kansas, and Josh Beeson of Liberty, Missouri, brothers, John “Tony” Martinez and his wife, Linda of Liberal, Kansas, and Carlos Ray Martinez and his wife, Charity of Liberal, Kansas, and sister Mechelle F. Martinez and her significant other, Rachel Whetstone of Manhattan, Kansas, and two grandchildren, Issac and Elsie Beeson and many cousins.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Elsie Martinez, and uncles, William Delgado, and Raymond Valesquez.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday, September 1, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas with Reverend Charles Seiwert presiding.

Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
