Kelly Brooks Porter, 51, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born on March 26, 1968, the son of Melvin and Schenena (Jones) Porter in Liberal, KS.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1986, and then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Pittsburg State University.
Kelly worked for the City of Liberal’s water department, with co-workers that became very close friends.
Kelly could often be found cheering on the Sooners, tinkering in his garage with his motorcycles, or fishing. He was also a very talented artist.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Porter, and Grandparents Emma and Barney Brock and Wilma and Corky Jones.
Per the family and Kelly’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services, as cremation has taken place.
