June Wilson 85, died, Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Liberal Good Samaritan Society Liberal, KS. She had been a longtime resident of Liberal, KS and was formerly from El Dorado and Rosalia, KS. She was born July 16, 1927 in El Dorado, KS the daughter of Harry Frank and Anna Mae (Gogola) Wilson. She graduated from El Dorado High School in El Dorado, KS in 1945. She worked at the Rock Island Railroad as a station agent for many years, until its closing. She then worked for Pittman Grain and Elevator in Liberal, Kansas and also National Beef Packing Company in Liberal. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Her hobbies were bowling, and was nominated bowler of the year. She also was an avid rose gardener and was known for ability to bake. She is survived by1 brother Charles Wilson, of South Bend, Indiana. 3 sisters Marcelle Wilson Rosalia, KSand Sue Marie Wilson Rosalia, KS Dot Vangieson Liberal, KS. She also survived by several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by parents and one brother Frank Wilson and her beloved pet Missy. Graveside services were held on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. at the Blankenship Cemetery in Rosalia, KS.Brenneman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
