Juan Dominguez Garcia

Juan Dominguez Garcia, age 72, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home in Liberal, Kansas. He was born on January 11, 1949, the son of Ascencion Dominguez and Margarita Garcia in Delicias, Chihuahua. Juan was born and raised in Mexico, and moved to Liberal, Kansas where he lived for 30 years. On September 28, 1983, he married Lucila in El Paso, Texas. He was the father of seven children. Jose Juan Dominguez, Jesus Omar Dominguez, Daniel Dominguez, Gabriela Aguilar, Marisol Dominguez, Rocio Dominguez, and Olga Daniel. Juan worked very hard to support his family. He worked in construction, agriculture and as a mechanic. Juan was a very friendly man. Always making jokes even when he was in pain. To his neighbors and friends, he was known as “Juanito”. Survived by: His wife, Lucila Garcia of Liberal, Kansas Sons, Jose Juan Dominguez, and Jesus Omar Dominguez of Liberal, Kansas And Daniel Dominguez, Daughters, Gabriela Aguilar of Amarillo, Texas Marisol Dominguez, Rocio Dominguez, and Olga Daniel Brothers, Lorenzo Dominguez of San Elizario, Texas Jose Dominguez of Liberal, Kansas And Raul Dominguez of Wichita, Kansas Sisters, Rosario Triana of El Paso, Texas Eva Velasquez of Las Cruces, New Mexico Manuela Garcia and Olivia Marin of Liberal, Kansas Guadalupe Dominguez of San Elizario, Texas Lourdes Garcia of Liberal, Kansas and Blanca Grajales of Kansas City, Kansas Grandchildren, Ismael Dominguez, Josue, Matthew, Fabian Dominguez, Grace, Galilea and Samuel Aguilar, Sandra Avila, Karina Gonzalez, Mario Lazalde, Miguel Lazalde, Ruby and Sadie Dominguez, Ishmael Reza, and Yolando Camacho. Great Grandchildren, Mayrin Camacho, Eliam Reza and Matthias Reza Juan was preceded in death by both of his parents, Ascencion Dominguez and Margarita Garcia, and his brother. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Hiram Gutierrez presiding.
