Joseph Randal McCubbins

Joseph Randal McCubbins, age 76, died April 3, 2016 in Liberal, KS. He was born March 26, 1940, in Bardstown, KY, the son of Golden Wesley and Lula Margaret (Nalley) McCubbins. He attended school in Bardstown, KY. He had been a resident of Tucson, AZ for 35 years. He served in the US Airforce at Lockland Airforce Base before being discharged. He was employed by Navajo Express, Inc., as a truck driver for 26 years. He married Shirley A. McDougal on December 19, 1981 in Tucson, AZ. She survives.Survivors include:1 Son Joseph D. McCubbins and wife Susie Bardstown, KY3 Daughters Sandra Michelle Barber and husband Luther Boston, KY Kimberly Elaine Retallack and husband Ronald Springfield, KY Vickie Lynn Burkhead and husband Stanley Taylorsville, KY1 Brother Bill McCubbins and wife LaVerne Roundo, S.C. 1 Sister Brenda Spalding and husband Joseph Bardstown, KY 4 Half-Sisters Judy Nalley and husband David Jamestown, NC Patty Crume Radcliff, KY Helen Johnson and husband Rob Radcliff, KY Tammy Potts and husband Ed Moncks Corner, SC 13 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Brother and 1 half-brother.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2016 the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Ike Ferguson presiding. Inurnment will be held at the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation time will be held from 10am to 1pm at First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
