Jose Luis "Luisito" Rios Favela

Jose Luis “Luisito” Rios Favela, age 39, died Sunday, December 17, 2023, in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on December 03, 1984, the son of Jose L. Rios Rodriguez, and Marcelina Favela Perez in Santa Clara, Durango, Mexico.

Jose graduated from Liberal High school and went on to work in production for Seaboard Foods.

He is survived by his fiancé, Leticia Valles, his parents, Jose L. Rios Rodriguez, and Marcelina Favela Perez, one brother, Francisco Javier Rios Favela, one sister, Yadira Rios Favela, and her husband, Ivan Rodriguez, two nephews, Viktor Manuel Tremillo, and Sebastian Sammuel Tremillo.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hilario Favela Cordero, grandmother, Lucina Perez Rodriguez, and grandfather, Lorenzo Rios Rodriguez.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home.

Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
