Jason Plummer

Jason Plummer, age 45, died on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on November 13, 1979, in Liberal, Kansas to Jim Plummer and Donna Lynne Nelson.

Jason completed the 12th grade and went on to work as a kitchen assistant for restaurants. He enjoyed spending time in nature fishing and camping. He loved music and could be found wearing his headphones listening to his favorite music. Jason really enjoyed people, mixing and interacting with them. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone with any job. Jason loved cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Spending time with his niece and nephew, Taisley and Tanner always brought joy for Jason. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his father, Jim Plummer, and stepmother, Irene Plummer of Liberal, Kansas,

Mother, Donna L. Nelson Atkins, and stepfather, Joseph Atkins of Liberal, Kansas.

Brother, Tylor C. Plummer of Salina, Kansas,

Sister-in-law, Stephanie Plummer.

Niece and nephew, Taisley and Tanner Plummer.

Brittany Arana, of Spearman, Texas.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun. Reverend Charles Seiwert will be celebrating. 

An interment will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Oakley Cemetery in Oakley, Kansas. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Epileptic Foundation in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
