Henry “Hank” Junior LeMonnier, 84, died Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society, in Liberal, Kansas.
He was born September 3, 1939, in Perryton, Texas. He was the son of Edwin Henry and Ruby Beatrice (Stagner) LeMonnier. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Ann Cox on August 16, 1958, in Las Animas, Colorado. She preceded him in death August 16, 2014. They were married 56 years.
Hank was a semi-truck driver for 40 years, with 35 of those at Nash Finch Co., retiring in 1999. Hank and Marilyn drove their RV to all 50 states, except Hawaii, of course, which they flew to. They also visited all the Canadian Provinces and four states of Mexico in their RV.
Later in life Hank found love again and married Jane A. Mobley on August 26, 2017, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Liberal, Kansas. Hank and Jane spent relaxing coffee time with friends every morning. They also played innumerable card games with friends and put together uncountable puzzles. Hank’s life was well lived, and he was much loved. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Aria Farmer,
Rhett Fronk,
Oliver Schneweis,
and Teagan Farmer.
He was proceeded in death by his
first wife Marilyn Ann (Cox) LeMonnier,
daughter, Tina (LeMonnier) Vangieson,
parents Edwin and Ruby LeMonnier and
one sister, Goldie (LeMonnier) Crabtree.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas. The family will be present to greet friends from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1200 W. 11th Street, Liberal, Kansas. Reverend Jason Toombs will preside.
A private interment will take place.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
