Felix Louis Huebner, 79, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at home in rural Texas County, OK.He was born January 13, 1933, to Earnest and Gussie (Wald) Huebner, at Turpin, OK.He graduated from Turpin High School, then attended Panhandle State University, at Goodwell, OK, and Central State University, at Edmond, OK. He was a farmer and lifetime resident of Turpin. He served in the U.S. Army May, 1956 – March 1958. He was member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Forgan and Liberal Senior Citizens Centers, and, in 1961, the Sports-Car Club of Southwest Kansas. He enjoyed square dancing, gardening, travel, and family. Survivors include:3 daughters - Sandy Howard, of Vernal, UT, Karen Huebner and husband DeWayne Tibbetts, of Tyrone, and Michelle Huebner, of Tulsa, OK1 brother – Joe Huebner, of Amarillo, TX5 grandchildren – Jonathan Huebner, Rachel (Howard) McMullin, Sydnee Tibbetts, Derick Tibbetts, Quinten Tibbetts4 great-grandchildren - Jace Collette, Khyson Huebner, Rhyker Oakden, and Rhyan OakdenHe was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Charles HuebnerVisitation will be 1 – 8 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Brenneman Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Liberal, with Rev. Andrew Wehling, officiating.
