Ernestine Shelton “Momma Shelton” 89, died, Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at her residence in Liberal, KS. She was born June 5, 1926 in Florida, the daughter of Roy & Olga Mae (Hitgon) Shelton. She had been a resident of Liberal for the past 30 years and was a member of the New Life Church. She dedicated her life as a missionary not only in Liberal, KS, but also around the world. She had a passion for people giving of herself to others She is survived by.Adopted Son Larrie Miller of Liberal, KS Several nieces and nephews, including, Gregory Shelton, of FloridaFuneral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Sept, 22, 2015, at Bibleway Church of God in Christ, with Larrie Miller, officiating Burial will be held in Liberal Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, at Brenneman Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be sent to the Momma Shelton Care Fund in Care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
