Elizabeth K. Delay, age 54, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Western Prairie Senior Living Center in Ulysses, Kansas, after a long illness.
She was born March 29, 1964, in Durango, Colorado, the daughter of J. George and Eleanor (Martin) Kambouris.
Elizabeth graduated from Alton High School in Alton, Missouri in 1982 and Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas with a BS degree in 1987. She was a sharpshooter while attending Texas Tech. She married Lonnie Delay on August 26, 1987 in Lubbock, Texas.
They were married for 30 years. Lonnie preceded her in death on August 2, 2017
She was a Member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Liberal, Kansas and the Liberal Rotary Club.
Elizabeth was a very respected investor with Edward Jones in Hugoton, Vice President in the trust department at First National Bank, She worked as an examiner FDIC.
Elizabeth enjoyed Reading, Listening to Celtic and Praise Music, she loved her pets and teaching her dogs obedience. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Lonnie to various places.

Daughter Anna Delay of Lubbock, Texas and Son Jacob Delay of Salina, Kansas
Her Parents George and Eleanor Kambouris of West Plains, Missouri.
Also Survived by one Sister Sara Kambouris of West Plains, Missouri
Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 West 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
Funeral Services are Tuesday March 19, at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 1551 N. Western Ave, with Reverend Jeffery Mitchell presiding. Interment will take place in Durango, Colorado with her beloved husband Lonnie Delay.
