Edward Roy “Ed” Williamson, 61, died Monday, August 5, 2013 at his home in Sublette. He was born September 25, 1951, the son of Frank and Virgie (Case) Williamson. He was a resident of Liberal for 27 years, graduating from Liberal High School in 1970. He lived in Sublette and worked as a Yard Foreman at Cattle Empire for 29 years. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and he was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. racing. He married Roberta Creathbaum on August 4, 1970 at Liberal, KS. She survives.Other survivors include: 1-Son Ryan Williamson Sublette 1-Daughter Jamie Williamson San Antonio, TX 1-Sister Beverly Warden Liberal 2-Grandchildren Kenedy Petty and Brice WilliamsonHe was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Karen Riggle; 1 brother Frank “Boon” Williamson; and 2 infant sisters Angela Sue and Theresa Joy Williamson.Private family Graveside Service will be held at Balko Cemetery on Thursday.Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Wednesday with family present to receive friends at Brenneman Funeral Home.Memorial Contributions: American Cancer Society in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, Ks 67901
