Cynthia "Cindy" Ella Wood

Cynthia Ella “Cindy” Wood, 61, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 at her residence in Wichita, KS.She was born December 8, 1951 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Robert and Henriella (Lasswell) Booth. She has been a resident of Tyrone, OK, Liberal, KS and Wichita, KS. She graduated in1970 from Tyrone High School.She was a homemaker and worked at Kindercare Day Care. She was baptized at Tyrone Baptist church at a young age and was a member of the Countryside Christian Church in Wichita, KS.Her hobbies included craft work, gardening and decorating. She was known for her front porch decorations changing with the seasons and holidays.On Sept. 10, 2004, she married Randy Wood in Wichita, KS. He survives.Other survivors include Parents Robert and Henriella Booth Tyrone, OK2 Sons Ragan Dreitz and wife Cheryl Liberal, KS Reid Dreitz and wife Ida Wichita, KS1 Daughter Robyn Friederich and husband Matt Liberal, KS1 Sister Vickie Booth Tyrone, OK 5 Grandchildren Dustin Friederich, Dane Friederch, Ella Friederich, Zachary Dreitz and Ava Dreitz.Funeral service will be held at10:00 am Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church, Liberal, KS with Pastor Jack Jacob and Pastor Gary Stone presiding. Burial will be held in Tyrone Cemetery Tyrone, OK.Visitation will be 1 pm – 8 pm Thursday and 9am to 5pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home.The family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 7 pm on Thursday.In lieu of flowers and plants memorial contributions may be sent to Leader Dog School for the Blind.
