Cristina Romero

Cristina Romero, age 78, died Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her home in Liberal, Kansas. She was born on July 24, 1943, the daughter of Ricardo Estrada and Natividad Carrasco in San Francisco del Oro Chihuahua, Mexico. Cristina was married to Edmundo Romero and together they had five sons, Javier, Ricardo, Ruben, Rogelio, and Hector and one daughter, Marisela. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. She will be forever remembered by her family and friends. Survived by: Her husband, Edmundo Romero Her three sons, Javier (Bobbie) Romero of Washington, Ricardo and Ruben Romero, both of Liberal, Kansas One daughter Marisela (Randy) Nordyke of Liberal, Kansas Two brothers, Victor and Ricardo Five sisters, Julia, Delia, Leticia, Ramona, and Josephina Eight grandchildren, Daniel, Carrington, Patrick, Dario, James, Adrian, Natalie, and Gerald Six great grandchildren, Dorian, Faith, Samuel, Tobias, Ryler, and Ezekiel Cristina was preceded in death by both her parents, Ricardo and Natividad Estrada Brother, Arturo Sister Carolina Sons, Rogelio and Hector Great grandchild, Temprince Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 28, 2021, Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Barnabe Aguilar presiding.
