Calvin Norman Baker

Calvin Norman Baker, Jr., son of Calvin Baker and Annette Norman, was born September 28, 1967, at Liberal, Kansas.Calvin enjoyed singing, and was part of a group called Melody King Jr. He also wrestled at Liberal High School, before graduating in 1986. He remained in Liberal several years before relocating to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he attended Canon Baptist Church, under Bishop Craig Banks.Calvin, passed away at the age of 45, on April 4, 2013, in Little Rock, Arkansas.He is survived by his father, Calvin Baker, Sr., of Liberal, Kansas; mother, Annette Norman, of Hays, Kansas; wife, Kimberly Baker, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; 2 daughters, Taylor Baker, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Sericka Ragland-Baker, of Little Rock, Arkansas; 1 grandson, Logan Wickett, 3 brothers, Bryan and Willa Baker, of Arlington, Texas, Edwin and Mele Baker, of Liberal, Kansas, Lawrence and Janina Baker, of Arlington, Texas; 3 sisters, Conya and Larry Carter, of Dallas, Texas, Rochelle and Rodney Lambert, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Nikki Hutson-Baker, of Queen Creek, Arizona; along with many other loved ones and friends.Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 13, 2012 at Bibleway Church of God in Christ with Elder A. Herman Bealer presiding.
