Bruce Gordon Jones 73, died, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at his residence in Liberal.He was born January 27, 1940 in Brady, NE the son of Gordon and Anna G. (Brockma) Jones.He has been a longtime Liberal resident. He had owned and operated Hotels before moving to Liberal. While in Liberal he managed the LaFonda Hotel until his retirement. He has earned his Bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He was a member of the board at Parklane Towers and was of the Methodist Faith.He is survived by1 Daughter Julie Jones Kearney, NEHe is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Beverly Brittanham.Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Parklane Towers Community Center with Karen Wenzel and Fonda Amerin conducting the service.
