Arline Unruh, age 87, died Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Lakeshore Assisted Living and Memory Care in Rockwall, Texas. He was born September 22, 1932 in Carnegie, Oklahoma the son of DeDan Unruh and Marie Nightingale.
Arline graduated from Alden High School in Carnegie, Oklahoma in 1951. Arline lived in Liberal for 49 years, 1964-2013. He was a gifted Tool and Die maker with Beech Aircraft.
He was a member of Turpin Mennonite Church, until he moved to Rockwall.
He married Neva Jean Zielke on November 11, 1951 in Turpin, Oklahoma. They were married for 62 years, until her death in 2013. Arline had many hobbies including: arrowhead hunting, building birdhouses, gardening, and eating sweets.

Grandchildren:
Max Unruh, Miranda Unruh, Thomas Unruh, Jeremy Unruh, Tonya Unruh, and Phillip Unruh.
Arline was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; brothers Leland Unruh and Nolan Unruh; sister Hellen (Unruh) Bamberg; grandson Gregory Unruh.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 4PM-7PM, at Brenneman Hornung Family Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 5PM-7PM.
Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Turpin Mennonite Church with Pastors Mike and Karen Isaacs presiding. Burial to follow at Turpin Mennonite Cemetery.
